Dr. Lalita Tyagi is a highly skilled professional with 14 years of in-depth expertise in library development, administration, and maintenance. She holds a PhD, M.LIS, B.LIS, and a B.Sc. in science from CCS University, Meerut. Her academic journey and professional education reflect her dedication to advancing knowledge management and resource accessibility.
Dr. Lalita's research focuses on the Usage of online resources, and she maintains a deep interest in online databases, e-journals, e-books, MOOCs, NDLI, NPTEL, SWAYAM, and various Library Management Systems. Dr. Lalita is also deeply involved in the evolving digital landscape, having completed certifications in Digital Transformation: Theory and Applications from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Effective Business Communication from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, conducted through Swayam.
As a member of prominent library associations like RTLA (Rajasthan Technical Library Association) and ILA (Indian Library Association), she actively participates in the professional community. Over her career, she has successfully organized National conferences, Book fairs, Training sessions, and Seminars.
Her experience spans some of the most renowned business schools, including ITS and JSB, and she currently holds the position of Librarian at IMS Ghaziabad. Dr. Lalita's innovative approach led to the creation of the first Academic Human Library at IMS, fostering an engaging and resourceful academic environment.
