The cultural Fest of IMS Ghaziabad was conceptualised in Year 2000 with an idea of Holistic Development of Future Leaders and that’s what makes it a much awaited event of NCR. And, being inter-college interaction; this provides an opportunity for students to develop relationships that will benefit them in the future in their managerial or entrepreneurial journey.
Group-Fashion Show-Vogue
- It is a team event. Entries will be taken on first come first serve basis.
- A team should have a minimum 6-12 members for each theme.
- Themes for fashion show are Fusion, Mix & Match, Rock & Roll, Indo-western social concerns etc.
- Time limit for each team would be 10 minutes (Including setup and the performance both).
- It is not necessary to participate in all the rounds of the Vogue.
- Each team can choose to participate in either one or more themes.
- Green room will be provided for changing purpose.
- Team should carry their tracks in pen drive only. Team has to bring their own props, if required.
- Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the team from the contest. Use of cigarettes, alcohol and any unfair means is strongly prohibited.
- Teams will be judged on costumes, theme, walking stance and attitude (expression).

- The Band is required to carry their own Instruments.
- Bands are required to have minimum 3 members and maximum 7 members.
- The theme of Wars of Bands are Hip-Hop, Modern, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Blues, Folks, Classical, & Electronic.
- The decision by the jury will be final and binding.
- Judges will use the following criteria to evaluate the participants- Originality, Stage Presence, Connect with the audience, Set Dynamism. Entertainment Factor/Showmanship.

Solo-Poetry Competition- Abhivyakti
- The poetry should be originally written by the participant in English or Hindi language.
- Political theme-based and vulgar themes will not be appreciated and lead to immediate rejection with strict action against the participant.
- A maximum of 5 minutes will be given to each candidate. Exceeding the time will lead disqualification
- The decision by the jury will be final and binding.
- Judges will use the following criteria to evaluate the participants- Presentation, Connect with the audience, Originality and Confidence.

- Teams should consist of a maximum of 2 to 4 members of the same institute.
- Each participant should be part of only one team.
- Teams are responsible for bringing their own colouring materials, including spray paints, markers, tissue papers, etc.
- Each team will be allocated a white canvas of 3 feet by 2 feet for their graffiti creation.
- Participants should base their artwork on the theme announced on the day of the event.
- The total duration for creating the graffiti artwork is 1 hour.
- Judging criteria will include creativity, relevance to the theme, technique, use of color, and overall impact.
- After the competition ends, teams are responsible for cleaning up their designated areas after disposing of any waste materials properly and leaving the space in its original condition.

Team of Two-Best out of Waste
- Theme will be communicated on the spot.

- Participants will show their creativity and talk about it in a two minute video.
- The Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material or any second-hand items that otherwise would be thrown away. The same should be brought by the participants.
- The item would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second-hand item.
- No ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted from participant in competition.

- There will be only one round of competition.
- Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is 1.5 hours.
- Teams will be responsible for the arrangement of the material required to prepare Rangoli. Only Rangoli colors and flowers can be used for making Rangoli.
- The participants will not be allowed to refer to any printed material etc. for preparing Rangoli.
- Judging will be based on the following Criteria- Overall Appearance and appeal, Details and Clarity in Rangoli art, Color combination, Creativity and theme
- The participants shall prepare a Rangoli within the space provided by the organizers.

- The mehndi should cover any 1 HAND of any length one likes. It is not necessary to fill both the sides of hand. One should put according to his / her liking in 1 hand.
- Participants arriving late will not be given extra time.
- Bring your own material. (cones, cloth, water bottles)
- Sharing of material with other participants is not allowed.
- A participant is allowed to put mehndi on their hand or on the hand of any volunteer they bring. Both the scenarios are allowed.
- If you are putting mehendi on another person, arrange your own volunteer for the same.
- Permanent markers/colour pens are strictly prohibited.
- Drawing of stickers/ tattoo/etc will not be considered.
- No reference material (phone/printed) is allowed.

Solo-Videomaking Competition-SMARTCapture
- Entries are invited for team participation (2 to 4 members).
- The theme of Video making competition is Glimpses of Melange-2022@IMS.
- Every video must use the hashtag while uploading their video on the above link. #SMARTCapture
- The team must capture the best video shots of Day 1 and upload the final video in the link that may be provided to selected teams till 7 pm on November 18, 2022. No video will be accepted after 7 pm and if uploaded that will not be evaluated.
- The beginning of the video should have the team member’s credentials (to be displayed while giving an introduction).
- The video should revolve around the theme subject and the Video length -Max (2minutes).
- Contents should not be disrespectful and abusive. The use of slang language must be avoided.
- The video can be edited by using music and captions and should be one’s creation. No plagiarism is accepted.
- The quality of the video should be of minimum 720p. (1080p is accepted but while online streaming, it is difficult to be visible to all video participants, analyzing an optimum internet speed, so it is your own choice if you wish to make your video in 1080p).
- The Criteria for evaluation will be Creativity, Content, and Likes & Shares.
- The cash prizes and sponsored goodies will be awarded to top three winners.
