To provide on the job experiences along with a feel of joy and perpetuity through various industrial visits to students, IMS Ghaziabad organizes industrial visits in different sectors and adventurous places. Industry visits are an integral facet of IMS learning model. The variants of deeply institutionalized practice enable the students to gain a deeper understanding of classroom teaching and gain practical exposure in real time.
Industrial visits provide the opportunity to students to meet company officials and staff at common place and gather all possible information regarding the functioning of their organization. After industrial visit, the student submits a report and present the same in the class room in front of faculty and other peer groups. This year PGDM students went for industrial visit to Mother Dairy, Yakult, Hero Motocorp, New Holland Tractors. Students had an interactive Session with the dignitaries of various organization to satisfy the quest of young minds.
All the students of PGDM 2013-15 batch got the esteemed opportunity to have an Industrial visit to renowned organization – Coca Cola India Ltd on 21st and 22nd March 2014. The Coca-Cola Company has 24 bottling plants at strategic locations in various states spread across India. Coca- Cola – Dasna Plant is the largest operative plant in Asia. IMS faculty members Prof. Rohit Sehgal, Dr. S.K. Dube, Mr. Swarnpreet Singh, Ms. Nidhi Agrawal and Ms. Charu Sharma also accompanied the students to the bottling plant. Students took a keen interest to understand the various aspects of the operations. They were briefed on topics as collection, testing, storage, packaging and distribution of beverages. It was an interactive session with the Coca-Cola dignitaries to satisfy the quest of young minds. The full day of industrial visit was a combo offer for students with knowledge and recreation.
