ICCG IMSGZB-2017: Frequently Asked Questions 

Earlier, I thought that the conference dates were February 11-12, 2017, but now I learn that it is February 12-13, 2017? Has the conference been rescheduled?
Yes. Unexpectedly, Government of India announced general elections on February 11, 2017 in Ghaziabad (The City of the Conference). On election day, there are many restrictions on vehicular movement. Therefore, to prevent any inconvenience to the delegates, we shifted the conference by one day. The new dates are February 12-13, 2017 (Sunday and Monday). Other details like Venue etc. remain the same.

When will the conference take place? Where is it located?
The International Conference on Corporate Governance: Retrospect and Prospects (ICCG IMSGZB- 2017) will take place on February 12-13, 2017 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Kaushambi-Delhi NCR (India). Delhi-NCR is the capital region of India and has excellent connectivity by air, rail and roads with all major countries of the world and within India.

How will be weather around the conference dates?
The weather in Delhi-NCR around the conference dates February 12-13, 2017 is likely to be temperate with pleasant sunny days and cool nights. February marks the waning of winter season in India.

Will there be speakers/presenters from abroad?
Yes. We have already received consent from three eminent academicians from USA, UK and Australia/New Zealand. More confirmations from foreign speakers are in the pipeline.

How can I register? What are the registration rates?

How can I be sure that you have received my paper successfully?
You will receive an acknowledgement mail from us when your paper is received.

My paper has co-authors. But only one of us will attend the conference and present the paper. Will other registered authors will get the certificate of presentation?
The number of co-authors for a paper is capped at three. If the paper is in joint names and one of the coauthors attends and makes a presentation, one certificate will be issued in the joint names. if more than one coauthors attend, registration will be required to be done by each co-author individually for being considered for separate certificate

My paper has co-authors. I have received comments from reviewer for revisions. Can my co-author do the revision and re-submit the paper?
In case of multiple authors, one of the authors should identify himself/herself as corresponding author. All communications should ONLY be done by him/her.

Are there publication opportunities if my paper is accepted?
Yes. The abstracts of all confirmed authors will be published in the conference souvenir which will be given to all registered delegates. Further, out of the accepted papers, an eminent jury of experts will select a few papers for publication in Conference Proceedings/Reputed Journals etc. However, acceptance of paper presentation in conference does not automatically mean that the paper will be published as well.

Is there any limit on the number of authors?
Maximum number of authors per paper is Three.

Can I submit more than one paper to the same conference?
Yes, you can submit additional papers. However, registration fee will be applicable separately for each paper.

Is there any discount in the conference fee?
If you register for the conference on or before January 1, 2017, an early bird discount of 20% will be allowed on conference fee applicable to your category. Also, research scholars from India and participants from Afro-Asian countries are offered a heavily discounted registration fee. Please visit conference website/call for papers for details.

II only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible?
The full benefits of the conference will accrue by attending both the days. On the first day the focus is on keynote speeches and panel discussions by globally renowned thought-leaders. Whereas, the focus on the second day will be on research papers.
However, your registration is valid for both the days and you may chose to attend as per your itinerary.

Can I present a paper “In Absentia”?
We greatly encourage actual attendance of the presenters in the conference. However, in some cases, authors may be allowed to contribute a paper in absentia. In such cases, the conference certificate will be given bearing the fact of in absentia contribution and also an additional 25% on the applicable registration fee will be required to be paid.

Is there a Best Paper Award?
Yes. The full papers submitted for conference will be considered for three Best paper Award. Award will be adjudged on the basis of both the quality of the paper addressing conference theme and the presentation by the researcher on the day of the convention. The winners will be awarded a plaque, a certificate of recognition and prize money in cash. In addition, five high-quality papers selected by jury will be given certificate of "special mention".

Is the conference schedule available?
We will post the detailed schedule by late January 2017/early February, 2017 on our website.

Is it possible to change my presentation day/session on the final program?
It is not possible to change the presentation day/session on the final program. However, depending on the availability, session co-ordinator/chairs will assist in accommodating changes to the conference program to allow you to present your paper at your requested time slot/day during the conference.

How much time will I get for presenting my Paper?
Each presenter will get 15 minutes time out of which 10 minutes will be for presentation and 5 minutes will be for discussion. However, this is indicative and subject to change.

Can I advertise in the conference program?
Yes. The advertisement copy and payment must be received by January 31, 2017. Please contact

I just want to attend one session. Is that possible to do without registering for the conference?
We do not allow unregistered attendees to come to sessions or other conference events.

I'm a presenter - is there a PowerPoint template I should be using?
We will advise a template to the confirmed presenters.

Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?
The organizers are unable to assist with travel or registration costs.

Will I receive a certificate of participation if I am not presenting a paper and am only attending as an observer?
All registered attendees, presenter or non-presenter, will be given a certificate of participation on the concluding day of the conference. However, the certificate will bear the fact of paper presentation if applicable.

What is the cancellation policy for the conference?
No refunds for cancellation of registrations are admissible.

I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?
On full payment of conference registration fees, the participant may request an invitation letter by emailing No invitation letter will be sent to unregistered or unpaid participants. The organizers also reserve the right to refuse to provide invitation letters for attendees. Please note that no further assistance would be possible from the conference organizers for visa application process. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to handle visa process.
